Sponsorship Opportunities

On November 8-9, the Agile Bazaar will be hosting a two-day Agile seminar. We expect 90 attendees. In 2007, the Agile Bazaar hosted Deep Lean which was very successful. The price for the seminar starts at $650 per attendee, with various discounts available (TBD).

All opportunities are on a first-come first-serve basis.

Seminar Overview

The speakers are Bob Martin and Jim Coplien. There will be classes, workshops, and panel sessions on the following topics:

  • Agile Architecture
  • Test Driven Development
  • The meaning of “Professionalism” in software development.
  • The tough parts of Agile – it isn’t as easy as it looks

Marketing

Marketing will begin September 1st and will be coordinated by our publicity chair, Nancy Van Schooenderwoert. You will be contacted by Nancy as soon as you become a sponsor.

We encourage all sponsors to publicize the event via their web site, mailing lists, newsletters, blogs, etc. This is an opportunity for you to show your support for the Agile Bazaar and to associate yourself with Boston’s premier Agile association.

Vendor Exhibit Hours

The exhibit area will be open during lunch on both days. Lunch will be served in the vendor exhibit area. If you have a raffle, we will host the drawing in the seminar room at the end of lunch.

Gold Sponsorship (2 slots)

Cost: $1,500

  • Mention in the opening and closing remarks on both days
  • Presentation during event, 15 minutes
  • Primary web/print real-estate
  • Inclusion of up to 6 pages of material as part of registration packet
  • Top mention in marketing materials

  • Group rates apply for attendees from sponsor

Silver Sponsorship (4 slots)

Cost: $1,000

  • Inclusion of up to 4 pages as part of registration packet

Bronze Sponsorship (4 slots)

Cost: $500

Dinner Sponsorship (2 slots)

Saturday night there will be a dinner for participants. The sponsors will be thanked at the dinner and also during the opening remarks on Sunday.
